The UAE Scouts Association announces the opening of nominations for membership in the Association’s Specialized Committees for the 2026–2029 term.

If you have the expertise, passion, and desire to serve the Scout Movement and the community, this is your opportunity to contribute to the development of Scouting and participate in creating impactful national initiatives and programs.

• Leadership Development Committee
• Membership Development Committee
• Youth Programme Committee
• Diversity and Inclusion Committee
• Strategy Committee
• Corporate Communication and Media Committee
• Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Committee
• Finance and Resource Development Committee
• Discipline and Ethics Committee
• Safe from Harm Committee
• Youth Committee
• Volunteers Committee
• Crisis and Disaster Management Committee
• Emirates Scout Fellows Committee
• Community Groups Committee

📌 Eligibility Requirements:
• Applicants must be UAE citizens or residents.
• Applicants must demonstrate good conduct and a strong spirit of volunteerism.
• Applicants should possess experience or interest related to the selected committee’s field.
• Commitment to attending regular meetings and actively participating in committee activities.
• Commitment to the policies, regulations, and systems of the UAE Scouts Association.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to achieving the Association’s objectives.
• Previous experience in Scouting, youth work, volunteering, or institutional work is preferred.

📅  Application Period:
The nomination and registration period is open from May 12 to May 25.

Committee Term:
The committees will operate throughout the organizational term (2026–2029). Committee formation will be approved by the Association’s Board of Directors according to organizational needs and selection criteria.

📍Important Notes:
• Membership in the Youth Committee is limited to male and female UAE nationals only.
• Members will be selected based on competence, experience, and the needs of each committee.
• The Association reserves the right to conduct interviews or request additional information when necessary.
• Membership is voluntary and aims to serve the Scout Movement and the community.
• Committee and member performance will be periodically evaluated according to approved performance indicators.
