As part of joint cooperation with relevant entities, and in collaboration with the Sharjah Museums Authority and Al Qasimia School, the Sharjah Scout mission participated in a dialogue session titled “From the First Knot to a Leader,” presented by Scout Leader Abdullah Bilal Al Shamsi.
During the session, the speaker highlighted Scouting as a non-political educational movement, addressing its goals and principles, as well as providing an overview of the history of the Scout Movement at the international, Arab, and local levels. He also emphasized the importance of Scouting in youth development, community service, and promoting volunteerism.
The session was attended by a number of officials and representatives from various community sectors, who praised the value and importance of the discussion through their active engagement, questions, and constructive dialogue, reflecting the community’s interest in the educational and developmental role of the Scout Movement.
At the conclusion of the session, the Sharjah Museums Authority honored Scout Leader Abdullah Bilal Al Shamsi with a commemorative shield in appreciation of his efforts and contributions to promoting Scout culture and strengthening its educational and community mission.
