The Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission is participating in the “Zayed Al Khair.. Giving Unites Us” event, organized by the Basmat UAE Association for Chronic and Humanitarian Diseases. Held under the patronage of Sheikh Eng. Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the event commemorates Zayed Humanitarian Work Day with the participation of over 1,200 patients and their families.
The event features diverse activities, including medical check-ups, Eid clothing distribution, and an Iftar for chronic disease patients, aligning with the Year of the Family. The Association emphasizes that this participation honors the legacy of giving established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reinforcing the scouts’ role in community service and social solidarity.
