Closing Festival of the “Impactful Innovators Challenge” Crowns a Year of Student Creativity

In an inspiring national scene, the Emirates Scout Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, concluded the closing festival of the “Impactful Innovators Challenge,” marking the culmination of a full year of creativity and purposeful community engagement. The event forms part of a global initiative launched by the World Organization of the Scout Movement in partnership with Accenture, aiming to empower students to develop innovative solutions with sustainable impact in their communities.

The challenge witnessed the participation of 3,000 male and female students from 48 schools, who presented 130 community projects, of which 30 reached the final stage, where 10 winning projects were selected for their depth of impact and sustainability. The challenge enabled students to transform their ideas into real-life solutions while enhancing their skills in design thinking, leadership, teamwork, and linking innovation to the Sustainable Development Goals, within an engaging atmosphere hosted at Zayed Educational Complex in Al Dhait, Ras Al Khaimah. The Association and its partners expressed their gratitude to all students, teachers, and stakeholders for their pivotal role in the success of this initiative, affirming that these young innovators are the true makers of change today and in the future.
