The Dubai Scout Commission conducted its weekly training program for the Commission Team during the months of January and February 2025, under the supervision of Leader Badr Darwaish, Leader Mohammed Issa, and several team leaders. The program aimed to develop scouting skills, enhance leadership abilities, and prepare members to assist in organizing major scouting events.
This weekly training forms part of the Commission’s annual plan focused on building the capabilities of young scouts through practical education and hands-on activities that combine learning with field experience.
The program covered several topics, including scouting traditions, group collaboration exercises, camping techniques, and practical sessions on core scouting and planning skills. These sessions helped participants strengthen teamwork, self-discipline, and problem-solving abilities essential to scouting life.
Participants showed great enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment throughout the sessions, reflecting the positive outcomes of continuous structured training. Supervising leaders highlighted that the program significantly contributed to nurturing confidence, teamwork, and responsibility among scouts, aligning with the Commission’s mission to equip future youth leaders with creativity and civic awareness.
