The Fujairah Scout Commission participated in the global JOTA-JOTI 2025 Camp held on October 17–18 at the Sharjah Scout Commission and the University of Sharjah, represented by a delegation of teachers from Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi School H3. The participation aimed to strengthen leadership engagement and expand involvement in international scouting programs connecting scouts worldwide.
The camp sought to promote national identity, support emerging scout units, and spread scouting principles across Fujairah and the UAE. It also aimed to foster communication between local and international communities and develop scouting membership through cultural exchange and skill development.
Over the two-day event, participants joined a range of activities including the opening gathering, training sessions on communication and digital scouting, supervision and mentoring of active scouts, as well as interactive workshops focused on leadership and technical development in the scouting field. The program concluded with an appreciation ceremony featuring certificate and souvenir exchanges among participating delegations.
The Fujairah Scout Commission’s participation strengthened cooperation among the UAE’s scouting commissions and showcased the essential role of scouting as a global bridge for education and cultural understanding. Participants reflected positively on the experience, highlighting its impact on enhancing their mentoring and leadership capabilities within future scouting programs.
