The Al Ain Scout Commission, in cooperation with the Friends of the Environment Society and several volunteer organizations, organized an environmental field activity on Thursday, February 27, 2025, under the theme “Environmental Conservation”. The campaign brought together 45 scouts and guides to raise awareness about protecting the environment and strengthening the sense of community responsibility among youth.
The activity lasted for three hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and began with dividing participants into patrols assigned to different working zones across the Al Nabagh area. Scouts collected and sorted waste, contributing to the cleanup of desert and natural areas in a cooperative and educational atmosphere.
The event saw great enthusiasm and teamwork, as scouts and guides actively engaged in the cleanup and demonstrated their understanding of the importance of caring for the environment as one of the fundamental principles of the scouting movement and its laws.
Organizers praised the efforts of the participants and emphasized that such initiatives help foster environmental awareness and inspire young people to protect natural resources. They also encouraged the continuation of similar community initiatives throughout the year to strengthen the role of scouts in supporting environmental sustainability.
