Al Ain Scouts organized a practical training program for several scout troops between January 1 and March 31, 2025, held at school-based scout premises under the supervision of Leader Mohammed Fawaz Al Jundi and Leader Abdul Ghafar Sultan. The program aimed to strengthen the scouting skills and knowledge of participants in line with the official scouting curriculum.
Each training session lasted one hour, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., and covered essential topics such as the history of the scouting movement, the Scout Promise and Law, the Scout sign and salute, along with a scouting competition designed to boost cooperation and positive competition among participants.
The sessions witnessed strong engagement from scouts and guides, who showed great enthusiasm to learn more about scouting traditions, values, and history. The program also improved participants’ teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills, while fostering closer communication between leaders and members.
The Al Ain Scouts concluded the program successfully after achieving its set goals. Trainers recommended holding more of these sessions regularly, as they contribute significantly to developing leaders’ capabilities and enhancing the overall performance of scout troops across the city.
