The Sharjah Scout Commission, in cooperation with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, organized the recreational summer scout camp during July 2025, with the participation of 80 Cubs, Brownies, and young Scouts. The event provided an engaging and educational environment aimed at making the most of students’ summer break through fun and beneficial activities.
The camp is part of the Commission’s annual program designed to foster national belonging, teamwork, exploration, and cooperation among youth while promoting scouting principles and continuous learning beyond the classroom in partnership with community institutions.
The opening ceremony featured the playing of the national anthem, heartfelt words of love for the homeland, and a video presentation showcasing the camp’s activities and schedule. Supervisors and participants were later honored with certificates of appreciation, and the event concluded with a group photo, reflecting the spirit of joy, unity, and accomplishment.
The participation was highly positive and achieved its goals. The Commission praised the parents’ encouragement of their children from various nationalities and recommended continuing to hold summer scout camps annually while working to expand participation in the coming years.
