In 1975, the Emirates Scout Association marked its first international presence by participating in the World Scout Conference held in the Kingdom of Norway. This participation represented an important milestone toward the global opening of the Emirati scouting movement. The event provided the association with the opportunity to learn about international scouting experiences and exchange expertise with scouting leaders from various countries, which helped enhance the status of Emirates scouts on the international stage and paved the way for their official membership in the World Organization of the Scout Movement in subsequent years.
