The Emirates Scout Association is organizing the National Simulation Model for the Arab Scout Youth Forum on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as part of its preparations to participate in the forum’s activities (November 9–14, 2025) and the Arab Scout Conference (November 15–21, 2025), under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The model aims to provide participants with a realistic simulation experience of the forum’s activities, enabling them to prepare practically and organizationally ahead of the largest regional event in the field of scout youth work.
The national simulation model serves as a comprehensive training platform that mirrors the environment, procedures, and mechanisms of the Arab forum, covering everything from electing the administration and drafting recommendations to managing sessions and conducting youth dialogues. Participants include the national delegation, university-level Rovers and Rangers from the UAE, as well as delegations from Arab Scout associations invited to take part in dialogue workshops and youth representation sessions.
The proposed training program for the model includes a set of practical sessions and workshops on leadership, dialogue, and decision-making skills, alongside discussions of key topics such as empowering youth in Scout associations and sustainability in youth initiatives, with an emphasis on implementing safeguarding policies to ensure a safe and motivating Scout environment for learning.
The event is managed by a senior organizing committee comprising Scout and academic leaders from the Emirates Scout Association, in collaboration with work teams from the Arab Scout Youth Forum and the Arab Scout Conference. The implementation of this model affirms the Association’s commitment to empowering young Scouts, preparing them to represent the country in Arab and international forums with distinction, and strengthening the presence of the Emirates Scout Movement at both regional and global levels.
