The Emirates Scout Association has achieved a major milestone by being accredited by the World Organization of the Scout Movement with the Global Support Assessment Tool (GSAT, Version 3), becoming the first Arab scout association and twelfth worldwide to receive this prestigious quality standard. This accomplishment follows a rigorous four-day evaluation at the association’s Dubai headquarters, featuring comprehensive reviews of governance, institutional quality, financial integrity, and youth empowerment. The achievement is the culmination of four years of coordinated institutional effort, beginning in 2019 and passing through phases of self, regional, and international assessment. The association’s leadership stated that this quality certification bolsters the UAE Scouts’ regional and global standing, reflecting the country’s continuous pursuit of excellence and leadership, and enabling strategic benchmarking and sustainable development.
