Activities of the second day at Al Murabba’aniyah Camp in the Al Dhafra Region continued amid strong engagement from participants and visitors, who are experiencing an integrated field journey through the Daily Visitor Programme. The programme introduces them to scouting and heritage activities that showcase desert life and Emirati “Al Sana’a” values, while reinforcing concepts of national identity, sustainability, and social responsibility. It offers visitors from different segments of society the opportunity to directly explore the camp’s stations and learn about the role of scouting in developing young people’s skills and connecting them with their heritage in an educational setting.

The camp also welcomed a high-level delegation that included H.E. Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, and H.E. Sara Awadh Musallam, Chairperson of the Department of Education and Knowledge – Abu Dhabi, accompanied by H.E. Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, H.E. Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department, and H.E. Abdullah Batti Al Qubaisi, Executive Director of the Heritage Awareness and Education Sector at the Authority, along with a number of officials. During the visit, the delegation toured the camp’s various scouting and heritage programmes and were briefed on its objectives and mission in strengthening national identity among youth.
The dignitaries commended the efforts invested in organizing Al Murabba’aniyah Camp and the way the organizing entities have leveraged the desert environment as an open educational and heritage platform for youth and visitors. They emphasized that such national initiatives play a vital role in preparing a generation that is firmly rooted in its heritage, eager to learn, and capable of contributing positively to its community, while aligning with the country’s broader vision for youth empowerment.
