His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, attended the opening of the 31st Arab Scout Conference hosted in Abu Dhabi until 21 November, with the participation of delegations and Scout leaders from 19 Arab countries, in one of the region’s most prominent Scouting events aimed at shaping the future of Scouting and enhancing its role in serving Arab communities.
His Excellency was briefed on the main conference themes, which highlight the role of the Scout movement in instilling responsibility and positive citizenship and in developing young people’s leadership skills, stressing the UAE leadership’s keenness to support and empower youth so they can play an effective role in driving community development and future readiness.

He also praised the efforts of the Emirates Scout Association in organizing this event as an important platform for youth empowerment, encouraging innovation and building effective partnerships between national Scout associations, helping to shape the future of the Arab Scout movement and strengthen its contribution to community and humanitarian initiatives in the coming years
