Emirates Scouts Launch Innovative Training Program to Qualify over 3000 Scouts for Sustainable Community Impact

The Emirates Scout Association launched a specialized training program in innovation and design thinking aimed at qualifying more than 3000 scouts to develop innovative community initiatives and earn the internationally recognized “Influential Innovators Challenge” badge, the first of its kind in the Arab world. Sixty leaders and teachers from across the UAE were trained over three days at the Dubai Scout Commission headquarters as part of the “Emirates Scouts Innovate” initiative. The program empowers leaders and teachers to lead scout teams of 50 members each, executing three community initiatives aligned with sustainable development goals. It emphasizes design thinking methodology that enables participants to analyze problems, create practical solutions, implement them, and document social impact, showcasing projects on the World Scout Platform. The project also includes training for younger scout teams and organizing local festivals to highlight the best community initiatives across the Emirates.
