The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission participated in the “Zayed Al Khair – Giving Unites Us” event held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Ras Al Khaimah Celebration Center. The event was organized by the Basma Volunteer Team in collaboration with the “Make a Wish” Foundation and attended by His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al Khaimah, alongside numerous educational and volunteer institutions.
The initiative took place as part of the “Zayed Humanitarian Day” celebrations, emphasizing the values of compassion, generosity, and solidarity deeply rooted in UAE society, inspired by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The event featured several community-focused activities, including the distribution of gifts, a communal iftar gathering bringing together volunteers, scouts, and participating organizations, followed by an appreciation ceremony honoring supporting entities for their contributions to social and charitable work.
In his remarks, Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi praised the initiative for reflecting the spirit of giving and national unity, commending the scouts and youth organizations for their dedication to community welfare and humanitarian engagement.
The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission reaffirmed that their participation aligns with their mission of promoting social responsibility, volunteerism, and patriotism among youth, while embodying the scouting principle of service to others as a foundation of leadership and civic duty.
