The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission participated in the “Your Iftar is on Us” initiative on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, held at Express Restaurant, with the involvement of scouts from Al Arabia School, Zayed Complex, and Al Tarbeya Al Islamia School. The initiative was part of a community program promoting volunteerism and compassion throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The initiative aimed to provide Iftar meals to workers and families in need across Ras Al Khaimah, easing their financial burdens while fostering a spirit of empathy, cooperation, and social responsibility among participants.
The event began at 2:00 p.m. and continued until 4:30 p.m., during which scouts helped in the preparation and packaging of hundreds of Iftar meals before distributing them to drivers and pedestrians just before sunset. The activity reflected teamwork, generosity, and the scouting principles of service and community solidarity.
The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission commended the participants for their dedication and active involvement, emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in shaping responsible future leaders who embody the enduring values of giving, compassion, and unity characteristic of Emirati society.
