On Saturday, March 22, 2025, Zayed Al Dhait Complex, in collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission and the Ras Al Khaimah Guide Commission, organized an awareness workshop titled “For a Sustainable Future,” with the participation of 39 scouts and guides from schools across the emirate.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of sustainable development and its goals, equipping them with practical skills to integrate sustainability principles into their daily and future lives. It also encouraged creative thinking to develop innovative solutions to environmental and social challenges while fostering teamwork and community engagement.
The program included interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on workshops focusing on innovation, collaboration, and youth-driven initiatives aligned with the UAE’s 2030 sustainable development vision. Cooperative activities helped strengthen participants’ communication and leadership skills while inspiring them to contribute positively to their communities.
The event also provided participants with opportunities to build networks and exchange ideas, fostering a sense of responsibility, collaboration, and active citizenship committed to achieving environmental sustainability and social well-being.
