The Dubai Scout Commission conducted a series of introductory workshops on Monday, January 6, 2025, at GEMS Jewels Private School in Oud Metha. The initiative aimed to introduce students to the scouting movement in the United Arab Emirates and highlight the role of the Dubai Scout Commission in fostering leadership, civic responsibility, and community service values among youth.
The sessions ran from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and attracted strong participation from students and teachers. The program included an overview of the scouting movement, its history and educational mission, as well as insights into the initiatives and programs led by the Dubai Scout Commission to support scouts of different age groups.
The workshops featured interactive games and scouting competitions that encouraged teamwork and enthusiasm among students while helping them learn about scouting values such as discipline, responsibility, and initiative.
The school administration expressed appreciation to the Dubai Scout Commission for organizing the event, emphasizing its important role in promoting national identity and preparing a generation of youth who understand the positive impact of scouting in building community spirit and commitment to service.
