The Dubai Scout Commission organized an Iftar gathering on Sunday, March 9, 2025, for workers, senior residents, and community members and their families as part of the “Year of Community” initiative. The event aimed to promote values of brotherhood, unity, and social solidarity among members of the UAE community and expatriate residents.
The gathering began at 9:00 p.m. and continued until midnight, featuring a shared Iftar meal in a welcoming atmosphere of kindness, tolerance, and harmony. The program also included light entertainment activities that encouraged positive interaction and joyful participation among attendees.
The initiative reflects the Dubai Scout Commission’s commitment to fostering humanitarian engagement and strengthening social bonds through acts of generosity and goodwill. More than 300 workers from different backgrounds benefited from the event, which concluded with words of appreciation for the participants and volunteers.
The Commissioner emphasized that this initiative is part of an ongoing series of charitable and community activities under the “Year of Community”, designed to promote social cohesion and highlight the spirit of service and inclusion embodied by the UAE scouting movement.
