The Dubai Scout Commission organized a practical training session on Thursday, February 28, 2025, for the Brownies and Guides of Umm Suqeim School. The program aimed to familiarize participants with the scouting movement, its goals, and the activities of the Dubai Scout Commission, while developing their understanding of scouting traditions and essential life skills.
The session began at 9:00 a.m. and continued until noon, featuring a variety of engaging activities. After welcoming and organizing participants into groups, the program included an introduction to the scouting movement and Dubai Scout Commission initiatives, practical exercises on scouting traditions, formation calls, and ropework skills implemented in a participatory and enjoyable learning environment.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showing great interest in learning new skills that strengthen teamwork, discipline, and community involvement. The training concluded with a recognition ceremony for the students and leaders, followed by a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
The Dubai Scout Commission reaffirmed its commitment to continuing collaborative training initiatives with schools across the emirate, empowering young girls through scouting programs that build leadership, responsibility, and national pride.
