The Al Ain Scout Commission, in cooperation with Belvedere School, organized a full-day training camp on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with the participation of 35 scouts and guides from various age groups. The event aimed to train participants in outdoor life skills and provide hands-on scouting experiences in an engaging and educational environment.
The camp’s program included a series of one-hour training activities throughout the day, featuring individual tent pitching, outdoor meal preparation, and team competitions between patrols designed to promote collaboration, discipline, and positive competition among participants.
The atmosphere was lively and interactive, with scouts expressing their excitement about trying new outdoor experiences and learning practical skills in camping and teamwork. Leaders and trainers praised the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to implementing what they learned during the camp.
The Al Ain Scout Commission stated that this event is part of its annual initiatives to develop the well-rounded scouting personality of youth, enhance their self-reliance and connection with nature, and encourage schools to adopt scouting programs that strengthen students’ skills and personal growth.
