The Aga Khan Scout and Guide Groups, in collaboration with the Dubai Scout Commission, organized a Weekend Scout Camp from Saturday, February 1 to Sunday, February 2, 2025. The event brought together 98 scouts, guides, and leaders from various age groups to participate in an engaging and educational outdoor program aimed at developing scouting and survival skills.
The camp began at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and concluded at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The program featured a variety of practical and team-based activities, including camp setup and tent building, flag ceremonies following scouting traditions, outdoor cooking, compass navigation, ropework, and code interpretation exercises conducted in a collaborative and fun environment.
Evening programs included campfires and social gatherings that encouraged friendship, cultural exchange, and scout spirit among participants. The camp provided an ideal platform for scouts and guides to deepen their understanding of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility while enjoying the principles of scouting life.
Organizers emphasized that the event successfully achieved its objectives by empowering youth with practical experiences rooted in scouting values and strengthening connections between diverse communities through shared learning, cooperation, and adventure.
