The scouting movement in Sharjah is one of the oldest activities, where the first scout troop began in 1957, and the commission was officially established in 1984. It works to develop scouting work and spread its principles among youth in the emirate, and is distinguished by hosting international scout meetings and maintains partnerships with Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Municipality, and the Environment and Protected Areas Authority.
