Khalifa bin Tahnoun: Leadership is committed to supporting and empowering youth at the 31st Arab Scout Conference in Abu Dhabi

His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, attended the opening of the 31st Arab Scout Conference hosted in Abu Dhabi until 21 November, with the participation of delegations and Scout leaders from 19 Arab countries, in one of the Arab Scout Organization’s most prominent events dedicated to discussing the future of Scouting and its role in serving communities.

His Excellency underlined the UAE leadership’s commitment to supporting and empowering young people to enhance their contribution to community development, praising the efforts of the Emirates Scout Association in organizing an event that serves as an important platform for youth empowerment, encouraging innovation and building effective partnerships between national Scout associations, thereby helping to shape the future of the Arab Scout movement and strengthen its educational and leadership role in building new generations.

The conference continues its sessions in Abu Dhabi with delegations from 17 Arab Scout associations to discuss the general policies of the movement, adopt the upcoming Arab strategy, elect the Arab Scout Committee, review financial and administrative reports and approve joint programs and initiatives, while Dr. Salem Abdulrahman Al Darmaki, Dr. Abdullah Al Turaiji and representatives of global Scouting bodies emphasized that the UAE’s hosting of this event reflects an advanced vision that positions Scouting as a key pillar of human development and youth preparation for the future.
