Sultan Al Neyadi shares his space journey at the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum in Abu Dhabi

His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth, shared his journey from being one of the first Arab astronauts to leading the youth portfolio during his participation in the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum, stressing that every stage of his career was a school of perseverance, teamwork, discipline and continuous learning, and that his spaceflight became a turning point in understanding the role of science and youth in shaping the future.

He explained that the longest Arab space mission in history aboard the International Space Station was a vivid lesson in determination, team spirit and discipline, noting that succeeding in an environment where there is no room for error mirrors what young people need today in work teams and future projects, as progress depends on responsibility, trust, knowledge and strong shared values.

Dr. Al Neyadi underlined that Emirati and Arab youth stand before a historic opportunity to build a future grounded in values, knowledge and innovation, emphasizing that youth empowerment is a comprehensive national project around which policies are woven in all sectors, and pointing out that the relationship between education, innovation and science fiction is a complementary one where great discoveries start from simple curiosity that must be nurtured through practical experiences and applied learning to create a generation capable of adapting and innovating
