The Emirates Scout Association has hosted the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum in Abu Dhabi under the slogan “Ready for Digital Life.. with Arab Scouting Leadership”, organized by the Arab Scout Organization (Arab Scout Region) in cooperation with the Emirates Scout Association at the Yas Conference Center on Yas Island, with the participation of young people aged 18 to 26 representing 19 Arab Scout associations and support from several government and national entities in Abu Dhabi concerned with youth and volunteering.
The forum aims to enhance Arab youth participation in Scouting decision-making and to develop digital leadership and change-making skills through a comprehensive program that includes workshops and dialogue sessions on youth leadership, governance, digital transformation, youth protection and sustainability, in addition to interactive sessions on artificial intelligence and future skills in Scouting work, while the forum also elects six youth advisors to represent young people in the Arab Scout Committee for the 2026–2028 term.
Dr. Salem Abdulrahman Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Emirates Scout Association and Vice-Chairman of the Arab Scout Committee, affirmed that hosting the forum represents an important Arab milestone that brings together Scout youth energies to exchange experiences and shape common visions for the future of Arab Scouting, while Dr. Hani Abdulmonem, Secretary General of the Arab Scout Organization, stressed that the forum is a strategic platform for shaping the future of Arab Scouting in a pivotal phase driven by digital transformation and youth empowerment, and Noor Al Hashemi, President of the 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum, praised the UAE’s role in providing an inspiring environment for investing in youth potential and empowering women in leadership positions
