The 6th Arab Scout Youth Forum, organized by the Arab Scout Organization in cooperation with the Emirates Scout Association, launched from November 9 to 14, 2025, at the Yas Conference Center on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi under the slogan “Ready for Digital Life.. with Arab Scouting Leadership” to affirm Scouting’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and empowering youth aged 18-26 from 19 Arab Scout associations with skills for positive change in their communities through workshops on digital leadership, AI, and sustainability.
The forum features dialogue sessions discussing World Organization of the Scout Movement strategies and future vision, with the election of 6 youth advisors to represent youth voices in the Arab Scout Committee for 2026-2028, aiming to enhance youth participation in Scouting decision-making, develop digital leadership and change-making skills, and build sustainable youth partnerships covering governance, youth protection, and social innovation.
Dr. Salem Abdulrahman Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Emirates Scout Association, affirmed the forum reflects the UAE’s vision of empowering youth as the nation’s wealth through programs blending technical knowledge with Scouting values, while Dr. Hani Abdulmonem, Secretary General of the Arab Scout Organization, praised it as a strategic platform for shaping the Arab Scouting future amid digital transformation, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s role as a youth leadership capital
