The Emirates Scouts solar energy project aims to spread practical knowledge of solar energy among community groups and empower scouts to become environmental ambassadors and active initiators, supporting the UAE’s clean energy and climate neutrality strategy for 2050. The project integrates environmental education in schools and youth centers through workshops, awareness campaigns such as “Solar Survival Day” and “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week,” and the “Sun Explorers” program for children. Omar Al Hammadi stands out for his active participation in local, Gulf, and Arab initiatives, alongside training programs in artificial intelligence, information warfare, and the Gulf Youth Summit. Khalil Rahma, Secretary-General of Emirates Scouts, emphasizes that true investment lies in building people and youth, which is fundamental to achieving sustainable development.
